Hello, my fellow brothers and sisters of the leaf.

My name is Dustin (AKA Cigar Dad). I am from Denver, Colorado, and I have been smoking cigars for 20+ years. I worked in a cigar lounge/bar as my second job just because it was such a huge passion for many years, and I met some of the greatest people during my time there. 

 I don’t have a favorite cigar. I am a huge advocate for trying anything and everything and not limiting yourself to just a few cigars and cigar brands. There are so many great boutique cigar companies out there that produce outstanding cigars. Caldwell cigars is one of my favorite Boutique cigar brands; everything Robert Caldwell produces is outstanding.

If I were to pick one of my favorite cigar brands, I would have to say the Padron 1926 series, and one of my go-to cigars that is budget-friendly, smooth, and can be smoked any time of the day I would have to say the Macanudo Inspirado Orange.  

If you are ever in the Denver, Colorado, area and looking for a great cigar shop and lounge, I recommend Edward’s Pipe and Tobacco Shop in Englewood (that’s where you will find me hanging out during my free time) and The Smoking Cave in Highlands Ranch. Both have amazing, knowledgeable, and friendly staff that are always willing to help you out. Both have a large walk-in humidor with an amazing selection of cigars.

I love introducing new people to the world of cigar smoking; it is such a great way to meet and connect with new people from all different lifestyles and backgrounds that you probably would have never met if not for this common ground and for the mutual love of cigars.
